The light on the back of the Circle device is the LED Power Indicator, as demonstrated in the following diagram:
Depending on the light's pattern, it can indicate the following:
Slow blinking light: The Circle device is ON but unpaired; it either cannot see the wireless network it was paired with, or it has yet to be paired to a network. See this article for troubleshooting steps.
Fast blinking light: The Circle device is ON, but it's in the process of factory resetting, or there is an internal issue (like a low battery). Make sure it is plugged into power via USB, and let a few minutes elapse. Troubleshoot for "Circle Isn't Powering On!" or try the following:
- Power off the device and then power it on and wait a couple of minutes.
- If the light continues fast blinking reset it then wait a couple of minutes.
- If the issue continues power the device off and back on once again and wait.
- Reset the device once more and wait a minute.
- Contact our team using the buttons below for further assistance.
No light: The Circle device is OFF. If this is not on purpose, see this article for troubleshooting steps.
What should I do after a power outage or if Circle won't connect?
If you've had some power outage issues recently and are having issues with Circle we recommend rebooting your router by powering it off and on, then rebooting Circle. Afterwards wait 15 minutes or so for things to reconnect. Note: rebooting your router will take down your access to the Internet temporarily. If the Circle device still does not power on or have a solid LED light try changing to another power outlet, or checking your breakers at home. As well, you may need to plug Circle into your router via Ethernet and wait a few minutes.
