On December 31, 2020, Circle Go (mobile device management for the Circle 1st generation app) will be officially discontinued. At that time, all supporting services will end. This includes the following:
- Circle Go VPN servers
- Circle Go account services
- MyCircle mobile apps for iOS and Android
We recommend that you completely remove all Circle Go software from your family’s devices by that time. If you have questions, please refer to the FAQ below.
The ability to manage your family’s mobile devices outside your home Wi-Fi network is included as one of the features in our latest products. Learn more about the new Circle Parental Controls app and Circle Home Plus device, which also includes a Location lookup feature and faster network connection. Circle Go for 1st generation Circle accounts and its related apps will no longer be available.
Can I use the Circle Parental Controls app with my 1st generation device?
No, the Circle Parental Controls app is NOT compatible with Circle Home ("Circle with Disney") devices or 1st generation Circle on NETGEAR accounts. The Circle Parental Controls app works with our newest product, Circle Home Plus, to manage devices on your home Wi-Fi network.
Is Circle Go still supported?
Circle Go is no longer a supported product. Circle will not be making any further updates to the Circle Go service unless deemed necessary for security reasons.
Will Circle Go services continue to operate after this change?
No, all Circle Go services will end on December 31, 2020.
Will any other Circle services be impacted by this product change?
No other Circle services will be impacted by this change.
