On December 31, 2020, the MyCircle app (the app you download on your child's device) and Circle Go (mobile device management for the Circle 1st generation app) were officially discontinued. This shutdown does not affect *other* Circle products than the MyCircle app and Circle Go.
All support of the MyCircle app and Circle Go have ended at this time. This includes the following:
- Circle Go's VPN servers will be shutdown
- Circle Go's account services will be removed from the Circle 1st generation app
- The MyCircle mobile app for iOS and Android are now unavailable for new downloads

How do I remove the MyCircle app and Circle Go devices?
You can remove the MyCircle app by uninstalling it from your devices. When doing so make sure to disable any Circle Go enabled devices on your account using this guide.
What may happen if I do not remove the Circle Go VPN from my devices by December 31, 2020?
After December 31, 2020 devices with the Circle Go VPN installed may encounter connectivity issues as the service is shutdown. We strongly recommend you remove the VPN and uninstall the MyCircle app using the guide here.
Will I still be able to use my Circle 1st Generation device after December 31, 2020?
Absolutely! You'll still be able to monitor all devices connected to your home network using the Circle device and your Circle 1st generation app. Support for these is not ending. The only change here is you will not be able to install the MyCircle app on your kid's devices to load the Circle kid dashboard (show their profile information) or to install Circle Go (mobile management).
What's the difference between the MyCircle app and my Circle 1st Generation app?
The MyCircle app is our kid app for the 1st generation product. It allows kids to view their dashboard and install Circle Go MDM/VPN management on their device. This will be removed from the App and Play Stores and keep new downloads from occurring.
The Circle 1st generation app is our parent app that you use to manage the account and your Circle with Disney device or Circle on NETGEAR. This app will remain available for downloads/installs and use.
Is the MyCircle app or Circle Go still supported?
The Circle Go mobile management service is no longer a supported product. On December 31, 2020 all Circle Go services will be decommissioned. As well, the MyCircle is now pulled from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and no longer available for new downloads.
Will Circle Go services continue to operate after this change?
No, all Circle Go services will end on December 31, 2020. In addition, the MyCircle app will be unavailable for new downloads.
Will the MyCircle app still be available for use?
The MyCircle app is no longer be available for new downloads. If the app is installed on your devices already that will remain. The app should still load and display your Kid Dashboard information for the assigned profile. Ongoing support for the app has ended and we recommend uninstalling it to avoid any issues.
Why is the Circle Go mobile service being shutdown and the MyCircle app removed from app stores?
The new Circle Home Plus device and Circle Parental Controls app solution provides a simple and all-encompassing tool for both in- and out-of-home screen time management across all devices. To ensure parents have access to the latest technology, which includes mobile management capabilities, Circle Go services and the MyCircle app will end on 12/31/20.
Why was my Circle Go subscription cancelled?
With the shutdown of Circle Go we've also cancelled the Circle Go subscription for the last month. Any customers still subscribed to Circle Go will have their subscription cancelled before renewal starting in November and continuing in December. You will not need to do anything to see that cancellation fulfilled and will not be charged again.
Can I use the Circle Parental Controls app with my 1st generation device?
No, the Circle Parental Controls app is NOT compatible with Circle Home ("Circle with Disney") devices or 1st generation Circle on NETGEAR accounts. Will any other Circle services be impacted by this product change?
No other Circle services will be impacted by this change. Your Circle 1st generation app, Circle device, or Circle on NETGEAR enabled router will be unaffected. As well, our newest product Circle Parental Controls and Circle Home Plus is not impacted by this change.
