The Circle team is currently aware of some issues while using the Circle device with the Zyxel C3000Z router.
What seems to be the problem?
When the Circle device is connected wirelessly (over the 2.4GHz band) to the Zyxel C3000Z router any devices set to a profile on anything other than a “None” filter or set to Unmanaged will be unable to access the internet.
How can I resolve this?
If you're experiencing the above issues with the Zyxel C3000Z router we recommend plugging in the Ethernet cord from the Circle device (the port is underneath the power opening) to your router. Leave the cord connected and you should be good to go!
Still need help?
If you've walked through the above and are still having issues, you may need to factory reset your Circle and set it up again. You can reset Circle via the Circle app under Menu and then Manage. Afterwards, make sure your Ethernet cord is plugged in and then set up the Circle device again by following the in-app prompts and this guide.
Other possible workarounds
Enabling compatibility mode for Circle may resolve some of the above issues. You can read more about compatibility mode here. Compatibility Mode is not available on the Circle 1st generation app or Circle with Disney devices.
