The Circle team is currently aware of some issues while using the Circle device with the Hitron CODA-4582 router.
What seems to be the problem?
When the Circle device is connected over Ethernet to the Hitron CODA-4582 any devices set to a profile on anything other than a “None” filter or set to Unmanaged will be unable to access the internet. In addition, "Unknown" devices may appear in the device list. We recommend that these be set to "Unmanaged".
How can I resolve this?
If you're experiencing the above issues with the Hitron CODA-4582 router we recommend unplugging the Ethernet cord from Circle and leaving the Circle device connected wirelessly to your network and within 3-5 feet of your router for the best connection. We'd also recommend disabling the 5GHz band for best success managing all your devices. In addition, make sure to set any devices you do not recognize are set to "Unmanaged".
Still need help?
If you've walked through the above and are still having issues, you may need to factory reset your Circle and set it up again. You can reset Circle via the Circle app under Menu and then Manage. Afterwards, make sure your Ethernet cord is unplugged and then set up the Circle device again by following the in-app prompts and this guide.
Other possible workarounds
Enabling compatibility mode for Circle may resolve some of the above issues. You can read more about compatibility mode here.
