Some dual-band routers need a special set up to work with Circle. On these types of routers, Circle will not properly function unless the 5GHz radio is disabled. In addition, Circle can only manage wireless devices that are connected on the 2.4GHz band, and all devices connected over Ethernet must be assigned as "Unmanaged Devices" in Circle.
📒Note: For these routers if Circle is connected to the router via Ethernet cable, Circle can only manage devices wired directly to the router, and all devices connecting wirelessly will encounter problems unless they are "Unmanaged".
For assistance disabling the 5GHz radio on your router please refer to the device manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider.
