Are you getting a notification that one of your devices "...is using Personal Hotspot" Why do we let you know about this and what can you do?
If your family member turns on their personal hotspot and and then connects other devices to this network those devices will be able to access the internet without filtering or counting against their time limit. The moment they turn their personal hotspot on you will get a notification from the Circle Home app, indicating that this is happening.
What can I do about this?
If your family member is attempting to get around Circle by using their personal hotspot we recommend contacting your mobile carrier. Most will allow you to turn this feature off. We recommend doing so, especially if you have a limited data plan where overages count against you! In addition, if your family member's other devices are compatible (running iOS 11+ or Android 5+) we suggest enabling Circle on them.
