Wondering whether the Circle Parental Controls app and Circle Home Plus device will manage your device? If it's on your network at home or can be managed as a mobile device using the Circle app on Android or iOS, we've got you covered!
For mobile devices using Android, iOS, Fire OS, or Chromebooks you can manage them using the Circle Parental Controls app by setting up Mobile Device Management. Read more here.
For your Ethernet and Wi-Fi connected device at home you'll need the Circle Home Plus to manage your home network's outbound Internet traffic. It can manage any traffic to the Internet, from any device that is connected to your home network. If a device is accessing a different wireless network, data network, or not using wireless activity then Circle will not be able to manage or monitor that activity. If the device is using offline content, Circle won't be able to manage that content and offline activity.
Unmanaging devices
While Circle Home Plus can manage and monitor all devices connected to a home Wi-Fi network, that does not mean that all devices must be managed. You can assign any device you want to Unmanaged Devices. By default, any new devices that connect to your home network are set to Unmanaged by Circle. This ensures they can perform their duties normally. Make sure if you do move a device to a profile, you have permission to do so and have let the owner of that device know.
