Wondering if Circle can be used at a public place like a church, business, or school? It's not something we'd recommend.
Circle and Public/Business Networks
Circle is designed to manage and monitor activity within an average Home WiFi Network and is unlikely to operate on a public or business network:
- Circle can only manage up to 250 Devices.
- Most business or public networks use enterprise-level security settings that will keep Circle from managing the network.
- Depending on your location this might not be legal.
- Circle requires an email address and password to log in and manage. This email address and password must be shared with other administrators to manage the same account.
If the network you want to manage is located in a home or semi-private location Circle may still be a good fit. We cannot guarantee that Circle will work with your setting. Contact our support team for specific questions about your context!
