Excited to get the latest bugfixes and features for your Circle Home Plus hardware? Maybe Circle has been offline for several months and needs some TLC. If you'd like to perform a manual check for firmware updates, here's how to do it:
- Grab an ethernet cord, and plug one end into your main router that is paired with Circle. Hold onto the other disconnected end.
- Begin holding the Circle’s power button, as if you were going to turn it off.
- Midway through this (about 5 seconds), quickly plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the Circle's port while continuing to hold the power button.
- Let go of the power button after a second; if an update is available, it should start the process within a minute (you'll know if you see the LED rapidly blink), and reboot shortly afterwards.
