Once your Circle device is set up on your home Wi-Fi, you can use the Circle app to continue managing your Circle account remotely when you're away. Simply launch the Circle app while you're connected to another Wi-Fi network or your cellular data connection to access your Circle account and change its settings from anywhere.
Having trouble connecting to your Circle remotely?
Here are a few things to consider if your Circle app is having trouble connecting to your Circle account:
Ensure that you have a strong Internet connection
If the Internet connection you are using (whether Wi-Fi or mobile data) is unstable or very weak, connecting to your Circle account will be difficult and may not work. If there is no Internet connection, you will be unable to manage your Circle account. Occasionally, switching to Airplane mode and back can help to restore your Internet connection..
Confirm that the Circle app is permitted to use Cellular Data (iOS only)
If on a cellular data connection and not another Wi-Fi network, be sure that the Circle app is allowed to use cellular data. Open your Settings app, scroll down and tap Circle, and make sure Cellular Data is switched on. Note that this only applies to iOS devices.
