What types of devices can Circle manage?
Circle can manage your iOS and Android devices anywhere they go using our Circle app. (Make sure they meet the requirements.) That includes when they are using mobile data or on another network. When you set up Circle Home Plus you're able to manage your home networks Internet traffic. Any device connected to your network that connects to the Internet can be managed by Circle Home Plus. We've programmed Circle to manage many of the most popular online apps or websites including those loaded on gaming consoles, smart TVs, streaming devices, wearable devices, streaming devices, etc. Even the apps on those devices, like YouTube or Netflix, can be managed by Circle and count towards Time Limits.
Can Circle manage gaming consoles or smart TVs?
Is your kiddo playing a multiplayer game with others online? Circle can put a Time Limit on that. But if they're playing a game offline and it doesn't require Internet activity, Circle won't be able to limit that screentime. Circle will be able to limit any online apps or websites that your gaming console or smart TV uses, like Netflix, Hulu, etc. That includes Roku and other smart streaming devices that use the Internet.
Can Circle manage my Chromebook or Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet?
You can manage Chromebooks and Amazon Kindle Fire tablets on your home Wi-Fi using a Circle Home Plus device. You won't be able to manage a Chromebook or an Amazon Fire Tablet away from home using the Circle app however, even if the device runs Android apps. Circle will only be able to track and control traffic at home.
