Note: this is resolved in version 2.1.4 of the Circle 1st generation app. Please update your app to see this fix.
The Circle team is aware of an issue with the Circle 1st generation app crashing. This affects version 2.1.3, which became available as of Aug. 13th, 2019. The crash occurs when connecting to the Circle hotspot of a previously set up Circle Home device. After connecting to the hotspot during the set up process and tapping "I'm connected," the app will crash.
Our app team is working to resolve the crash and has a test version of the app that fixes this crash. If you would like to be invited to use that test version of the app, you can reach out to our support team using the buttons below to contact us. Ask the support agent that your name be added to the tester group for the app that fixes this crash.
You can also work around this crash by resetting your Circle Home device and setting up as new. After resetting, make sure to uninstall and reinstall your Circle 1st generation app.
