Issues with iOS 13 and Circle 1st Gen. or Circle Go
The Circle team is currently aware of some issues related to iOS 13 and the Circle 1st generation app and Circle Go products.
1. App Store and Apple Music will not load with Circle Go enabled on device. This is related to region-specific restrictions in those apps that will not support the Circle Go VPN. There is no workaround at this time.
2. After connecting to the Circle with Disney hotspot, the app does not proceed correctly or allow you to tap “I’m connected!” To work around this issue, ensure that your mobile device stays connected to the Circle hotspot, then force close and reopen the Circle app. You should be able to proceed through set up as normal.
3. The Circle Go VPN will not disable on home network as it normally would. There is no workaround at this time.
Additional note about Location permissions
For Circle with Disney, Location permissions are necessary to proceed through setup. Denying will result in error message and prompt you to enable those permissions.
