Recovering a forgotten password
- Open the Circle app and tap Log In To Parent Account.
- At the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?
- Type in the email address associated with your account.
When typing in your email address, make sure to use the exact same email you used to sign up, including any punctuation or capitalization. If you are having issues resetting or logging in, try capitalizing the first letter of your email address. (Some keyboards on devices capitalize the first letter by default. This may have happened to your email when signing up.) - Tap Send Verification Code.
- Check your email for the verification code and enter it in the app.
- Choose a new password, and tap Reset Password.
Getting an error message when attempting to reset the password or is the code not going your inbox?
- Make sure you're entering your email address correctly. The email field for Circle login is case-sensitive.
- Our no-reply password reset emails frequently end up in spam, so be sure to check your spam folder.
- Try searching your inbox for "meetcircle.com" and "no-reply@meetcircle.com."
- Make sure your device has an internet connection (eg. not being blocked by the Circle app or internet connectivity issues). If you use any VPNs (including the Circle VPN) installed on your parent phone, please disable them and try again.
- Uninstall the Circle app >> Reboot Circle (press and hold power for 15-20 seconds until the light shuts off, then tap to turn it back on) >> Reboot your phone >> Reinstall the app >> Try logging in again >> If you get the wrong password, try resetting the password again >> Do you receive a verification code this time?
- Try disconnecting from Wi-Fi and requesting another passcode over cellular data instead (or vice versa if you're trying over data). Does changing your connection type make any difference?
- Download the Circle app onto a second device, then request a password reset. Does the reset work on the second device?
- Confirm that your iOS/Android OS is fully up to date. Sometimes outdated software can introduce unexpected results in the app.

Can't remember which email you signed up with?
- Make sure you enter your email exactly as you signed up. The login is case-sensitive for both your email address and password.
- If you are sure you are using the correct email, try capitalizing the first letter of your email address and trying again.
- Try using every email you can remember using since you first set up Circle, even ones that aren't often used.
- Check in the Google Play Store or iOS App Store (whichever one corresponds to the device you're using) to see what account you're signed in with.
- Look through your email accounts for any sign of Circle communications, including setup emails and verification codes.
